Wednesday, May 6

The Rapid City Area School District Office of Indian Education is bringing an incredible show to help kick off the Lakota Emergence exhibit. Award-winning Sicangu Lakota rapper Frank Waln (Rosebud Sioux Tribe) will be performing at the Performing Arts Center in Rapid City on Wednesday, May 6th. Before and after the show, the crowd will have the opportunity to check out some of the great artwork created by Rapid City High School art students in response to the Lakota emergence narrative. After his performance, Frank will lead the crowd down the street to the Lakota Emergence exhibit, at the Dahl Arts Center, where he will perform more.

This show is free and open to the public!
