“Welcome to my Family” is the title of the artwork Evans Flammond, Sr. created for the upcoming CAIRNS educational art exhibit, The Gift. The artwork is for Hunkapi, one of the seven “gifts” that Black Elk said the White Buffalo Woman foretold would be associated with the sacred pipe. The photo above shows a detail of Evans’ piece.
