CAIRNS Director Speaks at the University of South Dakota

The CAIRNS director enjoyed lunch with students and staff in the Native American Cultural Center at the University of South Dakota. He talked about the CAIRNS educational art exhibitions, and focused on the Takuwe exhibition that is on display in the university’s library. Afterwards, he toured the Oscar Howe Gallery and then that evening he attended an exhibit reception in the library and presented, “Wounded Knee: Deep Regrets for Ongoing Tragedies.” The exhibit is about the 1890 Wounded Knee Massacre and is on display for a couple more weeks.
