18 Nov 2021

Lakotan winter counts and star stories were the topics of a presentation, at The Brinton Museum in Big Horn, Wyoming, by the CAIRNS director. Early evening clouds prevented star gazing immediately following the talk, so audience members moved to the Brinton Bistro on the Museums third floor for a delicious dinner prepared by Chef Paul and his team (in the photo above, R-L, Suzanne, Rob, Chef Paul, Miranda, and not in the picture, Dave. The “Stars of November Dinner” featured a specially curated prix fixe meal that was inspired by traditional Lakotan and American Indian cuisines.
