A Few Things Everyone Should Know About American Indians

CultureSource, an arts and culture alliance in Michigan, invited the CAIRNS director to present at its first in-person Biannual Member Meeting since the pandemic. The meeting was hosted at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant Museum in Detroit. The presentation focused on four topics: 1) Tribes are political entities higher than states, 2) American Indians have lost nearly all their lands, 3) Tribes are different than American Indian persons, and 4) Language is sort of revolutionary.
