Signs of NO RESPECT

This week’s CAIRNS Etanhan Wotanin column uses the federal RESPECT Act, passed into law last month to repeal certain obsolete laws relating to Indians,” as a model for achieving a similar outcomes at the state level in South Dakota. It argues that the existing signage along Interstate I-90 that pertains to American Indian tribes should be repealed.
