This evening’s presentation by the CAIRNS director incorporated Lakotan narratives about Red Cheek WOMAN and her son, Fallen Star, and her husband, North Star. Co-owner of the Badlands Observatory, Ron, gave an informative laser-guided tour of the night sky and then he and the other co-owner, Teresa, oriented the telescopes and assisted attendees in seeing the targeted celestial objects. Ron also gave everyone an insider's tour of the big telescope that he built.
