Toksha Ake Wachinyankinkte (I Will See You Again Later)

Today was the fifth and final day of our Lakotan Lands & Identities classroom on wheels for Youth and Family Services. The seminar ended as each day did: with woyaksape (words of encouragement) from one of the attendees (seen in the photo above) and then everyone shaking hands and repeating “Toksha ake wachinyankinkte” (I will see you again later). This has been a wonderful group to travel and learn with.
