Lukas Reippel, assistant professor of history at Brown University, and the CAIRNS director were guests on the Twin Cities campus of the U of MN for three functions. The first was a morning discussion of a couple scholarly papers with the Biology Interest Group. Next, we visited with graduate students over sack lunches. And lastly, we gave an afternoon public presentation of the background and initial conceptual ideas for the upcoming In and Out of Place exhibit that is scheduled to open in the Gallery at Wingsprings on 18 June 2027. Two of the brothers in the back row helped excavate the bones of the brontothere.
