At 7:30 this morning, the 2025 Lakotan Lands Traveling Seminar departed from a downtown hotel for the first day of a two-day workshop on wheels in Pine Ridge Reservation. Highlights of today’s interary included stops at Wind Cave National Park, the 55th Annual Red Cloud Indian Art Show at Red Cloud Indian School, lunch in Pine Ridge, and a contemplative stop at the Wounded Knee 1890 Massacre and 1973 Occupation site.
