Friday at noon, Lukas and the CAIRNS director presented to around seventy attendees during the Turtle Soup Speaker Series in the Journey Museum in Rapid City. The co-curators shared historical and theoretical background plus early conceptual designs of the exhibit, which will be the eighth in our Lakota Educational Art Program (LEAP) series. There were good questions, comments and discussion afterwards.
