Developing quality educational resources is part of our mission to advance knowledge and understanding of American Indian communities and issues important to them. Our research-based printed materials focus on educational classroom resources for teaching about and studying the Oceti Sakowin Confederacy in general, and its Lakotan division in particular. These materials include handbooks for teachers, student textbooks, flashcards, and educational posters appropriate for display. We also offer digital resources such as DVDs dealing with traditional Lakotan narratives, K-16 lesson plans developed by teachers, and online audio files. These audio files and lesson plans are available for no cost on this website.
