Welcome to the online version of Articles of a Treaty, an educational art exhibit centered on the seventeen articles of the 1868 Fort Laramie Treaty. It includes songs, visual artworks and poems by more than seventy contemporary Oceti Sakowin artists. Its narrative structure groups these creative works into the treaty’s seventeen articles. In addition, a team of educators is developing K-12 curriculum for each article.
